The next Soho Connect West Cork meeting will take place Wednesday, 9th September 2009, at 12:30pm, at the Kingfisher Bar of the Celtic Ross Hotel in Rosscarbery. The meeting format will be informal as usual but the focus will be on the future direction of the group and the potential of our networks.

SohoSolo member Caroline Jennings did. Well, she thought she did. She received a call today from a company that was offering to set up a Google AdWords campaign. She was suspicious and told them they'd have to talk to her web developer, me. Luckily I had heard about this company and that they were targeting Irish businesses.

Last week (14/01/2009) SOHO Solo West Cork held it’s first ever online meeting. We chose the free online meeting service “DimDim” as the platform, and went through a series of tasks including a short presentation, desktop sharing / screen-casting, collaborative white-boarding, all using the public and private text chat and Voice over IP
